World Book Day 2023
The children and staff at Whiteparish have been celebrating their love of reading as part of World Book Day. Whiteparish is using World Book Day as a launch pad to for a month long series of events to promote the love of reading.
The day started with a whole school worship were we were able to share our book character costumes and also share our favourite books and tales of how and where we like to read and how we choose a new book to read, either in the library or in the book shop.
The children have also had the opportunity to access the mobile library as their favourite book characters.
The Masked Reader
Some of the staff at Whiteparish have read extracts from books and had their identities masked. Can you work out who they all are? Each Saints Team will be casting their vote later in the month to try and win team points!
