Leavers and Linkages for our shadow puppet show

Our Autumn term 3 Enquiry has been 'Where Does the Darkness Come From?' The outcome of this enquiry was to create a shadow puppet performance based on the Hindu Diwali story of Rama and Sita. 

We were being designers when we made moving puppets by learning how to make linkages and leavers using cardboard and split pins. We were also being scientists whilst designing our puppets, because we had to think about how our opaque objects would block the light to create the shadows for our puppet show.
