Our Ethos

We believe that every child must be provided with a safe and secure environment in which they can be challenged and nurtured to facilitate them in reaching their full potential academically, spiritually and personally.

At the foundation of our curriculum, are our school values of perseverance, kindness and hope. We believe that underpinning all that we do with these values enables the whole school community to flourish.

We do this by encouraging

Perseverance- having the determination and drive to succeed even when things are a challenge. Developing a growth mindset to enable all children to see that they have the ability to achieve greatness. 

Kindness- treating everyone in the way in which we would hope to be treated, in order to enable our peers to feel valued, cared about and happy. 

Hope- always having the expectation of success and the desire to achieve whatever goals our children and adults may have. 

Our aim is that when children leave our school they have received a high quality, inspiring education that enables them to be learners for life, with strength of character, ambition and resilience so that they can shine their light into the world.
