Year 5 Dodgeball Success

Sophie and Freddie from Year 5 report on the attendance of 2 Year 5 dodgeball teams at a Dodgeball festival last week. The festival involved some dodgeball coaching from a regional dodgeball coach and then playing a in a competative round robin league competition with teams made up of Year 5 and 6 pupils. Whiteparish was represented by 2 Year 5 teams.

 

On Thursday 27th April, the year 5s went to a dodgeball festival and tournament at Wyvern St Edmunds Secondary School. The Year 5s were split into two teams; Whiateparish A and Whiteparish B. The A team ended up coming third overall with the B team in 4th place. We played 7 different teams and each games had six 2 minute matches. We ended up playing each other in the 3rd / 4th place play off. Overall we had a lot of fun!
